From large scale geometric paintings by Frank Stella to Ai Wei Wei’s giant tree to Anish Kapoor’s deep blue half dome to oversize Calder mobiles big, bold and attention grabbing works by major artists were not only plentiful at this year’s fair but were full of rich and bright colors – a theme repeated from booth to booth.
